Tips on how to mix rap vocals and dancehall vocals

back - from how to mix rap vocals

Get warm VOCALS in Pro tools

To get more “warmth “ when you mix your vocals in pro tools get an analog mic pre-amp/compressor to run the vocals through before they hit pro tools. One of the best investments you can make is a good mic and mic pre amp. A good mic “pre” and EQ is the Chameleon Labs 7602. It’s somewhat of a Neve channel knock-off. It comes with mic pre and a three band equalizer. Another good one is the Avalon 737. The Rhodes NTK and Studio Project B1.
